Nanofab Connection: Molecular Flow Engineering.

Welcome to the nanoscale. Nanofab Connection is a high-speed logic puzzle where you act as a process engineer connecting molecular pathways.
Your goal is precise and urgent: Construct a continuous pipeline from the Source to the Sink. You are working against a fabrication timer, placing nanotube segments to guide the flow. Efficiency is key—every segment used adds to your score, but a broken path means fabrication failure.

How to play Nanofab Connection

  • Connect: Build a pipe connection from the Green SOURCE to the Red SINK.
  • Race: You start with a 10s buffer. You get +2s bonus for every tile you place.
  • Score: Once connected, press START FLOW. You earn 100 PTS per pipe segment used.
  • Plan: Watch the Queue window to see which pipe shape is coming next.

About Nanofab Connection

Nanofab Connection combines the classic pressure of pipe-building games with a sleek lab-bench aesthetic. Designed to test your spatial reasoning and reaction speed, the game challenges you to build increasingly complex structures under time pressure. Complete the circuit, submit your score to the global leaderboard, and prove your engineering prowess.

Science Note: Carbon Nanotubes

In the real world of nanotechnology, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are rolled sheets of graphene with diameters typically below 2 nm, forming extremely strong cylindrical structures with remarkable electron transport properties. Their conductivity depends on chirality and diameter: certain lattice orientations create metallic behavior, while others act as semiconductors.
In nanoscale devices, engineers must ensure that current flows continuously from source to drain through properly aligned CNT segments; disruptions such as defects, impurities, or broken junctions block transport pathways. This mirrors the game’s mechanics, where flow only succeeds if pipe pieces connect in the correct orientation, forming an uninterrupted route that lets charge—or in-game fluid—propagate across the entire structure.
